Purpose: The Children’s Special Needs Network (CSNN) is a non-profit organization based in Belton, Texas that assists families and professionals in providing services for children in Central Texas who are diagnosed with physical or psychological special needs.
Summary: The Children’s Special Needs Network provides a wide range of direct services and connects families with medical, educational, and social service resources in their communities. It also serves as a conduit, advocating on behalf of children in need and calling on churches, health care providers, schools, and others to rally around some of the most needy members of our Central Texas communities.
Outreach: The Children’s Special Needs Network provides assistance to families with children with special health care needs in finding resources to assist families with their needs. Some of the services we offer include a loan closet of medical equipment, recreational and social experiences for children, an annual conference for families, respite care, and camp scholarships.
How to Get Involved: Organizations can become involved with CSNN by volunteering for our large yearly events in the fall and spring and for respite care. We also have opportunities to serve on our Advisory Committee, which helps to plan our large events.
Ways to Give: Ways to give to CSNN include: Sponsor a child to attend respite ($25/month or $300/year), make a general donation to CSNN, volunteer your time with CSNN, and sharing our information with a family you know who can use our services.
